IBS Principal presents at ASCE's 2021 International Conference of Sustainable Infrastructure

Our Principal Nick Dean was one of the key presenters at the recent 2021 ASCE International Conference on Sustainable Infrastructure. The conference focused on resolving issues related to Climate Change faced by Small Island Developing States (SIDS) such as The Bahamas.

Using experiences learned from Hurricane Dorian, Nick made a case for a risk management based approach to infrastructure in SIDS. His presentation includes a discussion on the IMF 3-Pillar strategy to achieving Structural, Financial and Social resilience.
